ISO/TS 16949:2002 is a standard built by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) with the support of Technical Committee 176 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO / TC176). It is a quality system specification aimed at providing continuous improvements, enhancing flaws prevention, and reducing deterioration and wastes.
